Universal Gods - Thor 5 oz Silver 2022 coin is another coin from the "Universal Gods" series commemorating ancient gods from around the world. The item presents Thor - one of the main Nordic gods from the Aesir dynasty (son of Odin and Jörð, spouse of Sif), the equivalent of the South Germanic Donar, the god of storm, thunder and vital forces.
The piece was minted from pure Ag.999 bullion, weighing 5 troy ounces, with a diameter of 65 mm. The product has a mintage of only 500 pieces.
This unique piece was designed by Asamat Baltaev and produced by the Czech Mint, and is also the official tender in Niue. The coin has a guarantee as to its legality, purity and origin of the metal. The product is delivered in the original box with a certificate of authenticity.
The obverse of the coin is decorated with the image of the Queen of Great Britain, Elizabeth II, the inscription "NIUE ISLAND" and the denomination and year of the coin. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
The reverse shows the image of Thor holding his hammer - Mjöllnim above his head and decorative Nordic motifs. The inscription "THOR" is placed on the reverse.
