Sierra Leone: Egyptian Gods - Ra Colored 2 oz Silver 2023 Proof is the third edition of the coins minted on behalf of the Republic of Sierra Leone. The product comes from the "Egyptian Gods" series and depicts the god Ra. In Egyptian mythology, he was the god of the Sun, the creator of the world. In ancient Egypt, he was depicted with a solar disk and the head of a falcon or hawk.
The item was minted from Ag.999 silver, weighing 2 troy ounces and having a diameter of 50 mm, in the proof standard. The excellent Pobjoy Mint is responsible for the limited edition of 200 pieces. The product is a legal tender in the Republic of Sierra Leone.
The obverse shows the coat of arms of Sierra Leone, the inscription "REPUBLIC OF SIERRA LEONE" and the date of issue.
Reverse presents the image of Ra. Additionally, the reverse contains information about weight, purity and nominal value.
