Adze is a vampiric creature from "Ewe" folklore, told by the people of Togo and Ghana. In the wild, the ax takes the form of a firefly, but when captured it will transform into a human. The entire coin series will consist of 12 collector coins. The product refers to folk tales from the beginning of time.The value is minted from Ag.999 silver, weighing 31.1 grams and 40 mm in diameter, in the antiqued and high relief standard and in a mintage of 1,000 pieces. The manufacturer of the item is the Lithuanian Mint. The product is delivered in individual, original packaging, along with a certificate of authenticity.The obverse of the silver coin shows the coat of arms of Niue along with information about the nominal value, purity of the metal and the year of minting the coin.The reverse shows a colored image of Azdze, the inscription "ADZE". The designer of the reverse was Laimutė Varkalaitė.
