The piece was designed by artist Kevin Bynder, who comes from the Whadjuk-Yuet-Ballardong tribe.The silver coin is minted from pure silver, Ag.9999, weighing 2 troy ounces, diameter 50.8 mm, antiqued standard. Moreover, it has additional security in the form of an engraved letter "P" on the reverse side. The product was produced by the oldest Australian mint, the Perth Mint, is guaranteed by the Australian government and is a legal tender in the issuer's country. The silver coin is placed in an individual, certified packaging.The kangaroo appears, next to the Emu, in the national coat of arms of Australia and is a national symbol. It can survive for many weeks without water, spends its childhood in a bag, moves by jumping and is one of the largest mammals on Earth. The name kangaroo, from English: Kangaroo, was given by English settlers and comes from the Aboriginal word "gungurru".The obverse shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a crown. The obverse contains information about the weight, year of issue, fineness of the silver coin, year of minting the silver coin and country of issue, designed by Jody Clark.The reverse is decorated with an image of a colored, jumping kangaroo and elements inspired by aboriginal culture.
