The product is also a unique piece because for the first time the obverse features the image of the heir to the throne, King Charles III, who took over after the death of Queen Elizabeth II.The value is minted from Ag.999 silver, weighing 10 troy ounces, diameter 65 mm, proof standard. The mintage is 1,000 pieces. Moreover, this extraordinary piece was produced by The Royal Mint.Obverse presents for the first time the likeness of King Charles III of Great Britain and information about the nominal value and year of minting the coin. The obverse was designed by Martin Jennings.The reverse of the coin shows the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II with the inscription "ELIZABETH REGINA" and information about the Queen's date of birth and death "1926-2022". John Bergdahl and The Royal Mint are responsible for the design of the reverse.
