The first series was very popular with collectors and buyers. The limited series of Africa's Big Five consists of animals - an elephant, a lion, a buffalo, a rhinoceros and a leopard. The coin shows an African lion, which is considered the king of all African animals.The coins were minted from pure Ag.999 bullion, weighing 1 troy ounce and measuring 38.73 mm in diameter, in the proof standard.The securities were produced by the renowned mint The South Africa Mint and are the official tender in the issuer's country. The entire series is guaranteed by the South African government as to its legality, purity and origin of the metal.The set has a mintage of only 1,000 pieces and individual, original packaging.The obverse shows the head of an African lion and the inscription "SOUTH AFRICA", "BIG FIVE 2022" and the coat of arms of South Africa.The reverse shows two halves of a lion's head. On the reverse there is the inscription "FIVE RAND" and information about the weight and purity of the metal. Placing several coins in one position allows you to depict an entire pride of lions.
