The first series was very popular among collectors and buyers. The limited series of Africa's Big Five consists of animals - an elephant, a lion, a buffalo, a rhinoceros and a leopard. The coin depicts the African Elephant, which is the largest and most impressive animal in Africa. In the wild, an elephant can live up to 60 years.The silver bullion coin was minted from pure Ag.999 bullion, weighing 5 troy ounces and having a diameter of 64 mm, in the proof standard.This unique piece was produced by the renowned mint The South Africa Mint and is the official tender in the issuer's country. The entire series is guaranteed by the South African government as to its legality, purity and origin of the metal.The silver elephant has a mintage of only 500 pieces, individual pieces are delivered in a representative packaging from which you can read additional information about both the coin and the animal itself.The obverse shows the head of an African Elephant and the inscription "SOUTH AFRICA", "BIG FIVE 2021" and the coat of arms of South Africa.On the reverse two halves of an elephant's head are depicted. On the reverse there is the inscription "FIVE RAND" and information about the weight and purity of the metal. Placing several coins in one position allows you to depict an entire herd of elephants.
