The 50th Anniversary Decimal Day 2021 Proof Piedfort Coin is a unique product that celebrates Decimal Day in the UK.  Decimal Day fell on Monday 15 February 1971. This meant that the UK had finally switched to a system based on decimal units. 2021 was the 50th anniversary of this event.It is a mint made of Ag.925 silver, weighing 16 grams and with a diameter of 27.30 mm, in the proof standard. Moreover, this extraordinary piece was produced by The Royal Mint. The item has individual, certified packaging.The obverse depicts Queen Elizabeth II and the face value of the coin. The obverse was designed by Jody Clark.Reverse the coins feature the inscription "Decimal Day 1971". The reverse was designed by Dominique Evans.
